The Dark Knight of Orlando. Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Guy. A self proclaimed gym rat, sage of all things music, comics, exercise, food and sappiness with a superhero identity issue that speaks volumes. I follow WAY more Redhead blogs than I should.

This here is my 4 year old little boy. His name is Calvin. Named from Calvin and Hobbes. He’s really into superheroes and Spider-man happens to be his favorite. For Halloween I decided to take him to Comikaze. A comic con here in the heart of LA. The date happened to have landed right on Halloween too so I took him dressed up. Just a ‘buffed’ Spidey outfit I got from a Walmart. There were so many cosplayers, and everybody was awesome. Everybody we passed would say, “hey it’s Spider-man!” Or “Sup Spidey!” He was soaking it in. Now he lives with his mother and I’m with him for the weekends, but neither of us know where he picked up a fascination for Dr. Who. While at Comikaze we ran into a cosplayer there as the 10th Doctor David Tennant. We were just walking by and I asked Calvin, “hey who’s that over there?” And he replied with “doctor who!” Calvin is shy, but I took him over and introduced him to the 10th who was super awesome and in character and so excited to meet Calvin. It was a great moment for me seeing him so happy. I thanked the Doctor and we enjoyed the rest of the day. Thank you to all cosplayers. You guys are all awesome and I’m pretty sure my little guy is going to grow up and enjoy being one too! This was a long post so those who stuck through, thank you!
- EddyPS I wish I could’ve had more photos to share, but we were really just enjoying the day. =]
